Arietta

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 26, 2026

The short version

Arietta has no accounts and no sign-up. We never ask for your name or email address. Your practice history lives on your device and is never sent to us. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking in the app. The only information that leaves your device is what Apple needs to process a subscription.

This policy explains how VedaStack LLC (“VedaStack”, “we”) handles information in connection with the Arietta iOS app (“Arietta”, the “app”). It applies to the app only.

Information stored on your device

Everything Arietta records about your practice is written to local storage on your iPhone and stays there. That includes:

  • Your completed sessions, dates, streaks, and personal records
  • Your weekly check-in answers and chosen practice reminder time
  • Your onboarding answers, such as what motivated you to start
  • App preferences such as light or dark appearance

We cannot see any of it. It is not transmitted to VedaStack, and there is no VedaStack server that receives it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. You can also erase everything at any time from Settings → Erase all my data inside the app.

Information related to your subscription

Arietta is a paid subscription with a free trial. Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple, and we use RevenueCat as our service provider to check whether a subscription is active.

  • Apple handles all payment. We never receive or store your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing address. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier for your installation together with your purchase and subscription status. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, or any other information that identifies you, because Arietta never collects those in the first place.

In App Store terms, this is why Arietta’s privacy label reports Purchases — collected, not linked to your identity. We use it for exactly one purpose: knowing whether to unlock the app for you.

What we do not do

  • We do not use analytics or product-measurement SDKs.
  • We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not show ads.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not build advertising or marketing profiles about you.
  • We do not ask for, or receive, health records from Apple Health.

Notifications

Practice reminders are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. They are not push notifications, so no reminder passes through a server and we do not hold a device token. Reminders are optional, and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Exporting and importing your data

Arietta can produce a file containing your own practice history so you can keep a copy or move to a new phone. This only happens when you ask for it. The file is handed to the iOS share sheet and you choose where it goes — Files, AirDrop, or another app. We never receive it. Importing works the same way in reverse, from a file you select.

Device backups

Arietta does not sync your practice data to iCloud or to any other cloud service. However, if you have iOS device backups enabled, Apple’s backup of your phone may include app data as part of that backup. That backup belongs to you and is controlled by your Apple settings, not by us.

Children

Arietta is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app has no accounts and collects no personal details, there is nothing for us to collect in any case.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal information a company holds about you. Because your practice data never leaves your device and we hold no identifying information about you, these rights are satisfied directly in the app: your data is already in your hands, you can export it whenever you want, and you can erase all of it from Settings. We hold no user profile to look up, correct, or delete on your behalf. We do not sell personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Arietta handles information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
