Premisely
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
The short version
Premisely keeps a record of what is in your property, so it stores what you add: your properties, their items, photographs and paperwork, and the people you share them with. Your voice and the text on a label are read on your iPhone. We do not sell your information, show advertising, track you across other apps, or send your photographs to third-party AI services. You can export a property at any time and delete your account from the app.
This policy explains how VedaStack LLC (“VedaStack”, “we”) handles information in connection with the Premisely iOS app (“Premisely”, the “app”) and the pages it shares. Questions go to support@vedastack.com.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and a password, or, if you use Sign in with Apple, the name and email address Apple shares with us (which may be a private relay address) and an identifier Apple assigns. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider as a hash, never in readable form.
- Your profile. The name you use in the app and, if you add one, your picture.
- Your properties. What you add: a property’s name, address and type, its rooms, and the things in them, with their brand, model and serial numbers, photographs, receipts and documents, purchase dates and prices, warranties, service records, reminders, emergency information and notes.
- People you invite. The name and the phone number or email address you invite someone at. If you choose them from your contacts, the picker runs on your iPhone and only the person you choose is read; the rest of your address book is never read or uploaded.
- Notifications. A push token for your device, so we can send the reminders you set up.
- Share link views. When someone opens a share link you created, we record when, the kind of device, and a one-way hash of their IP address, so you can see how the link is used.
- Technical information. Our servers record each request’s time, the address requested and whether it succeeded, to run the service and keep it secure. Our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the service.
What stays on your iPhone
- When you speak a room, your speech is recognised on your iPhone. The audio is not recorded and is not sent to us or anyone else; only the list of items you choose to save is.
- Reading the text on a rating plate or a receipt happens on your iPhone.
- Photographs are re-encoded on your iPhone before they are uploaded, and their location and other embedded details are removed.
- Address suggestions come from Apple Maps, under Apple’s privacy policy.
How we use it
To provide Premisely: to store your records and show them to you and the people you give access to, to share what you choose to share, to send the reminders you set up, to keep the service secure, and to answer you when you write to us. We do not sell your information, we do not show advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Who else sees it
- People on a property. Someone you give access to a property sees that property’s records according to their role, and people on the same property see each other’s names and pictures. What a tenant records at a property belongs to the property’s owner.
- Share links. Anyone with a link you create sees the part of a property’s record you chose, until the link expires or you revoke it.
- The product catalog. When an item’s brand and model number are confirmed, the brand, model number and category may be added to Premisely’s shared catalog of products, so the same model is recognised faster for everyone. Catalog entries carry no link to you or your property.
- Service providers. Companies that run parts of the service for us and may only use the information to do so: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Cloudflare (servers), Expo (delivering notifications and app updates), and Apple (Sign in with Apple, notifications and address suggestions).
- Third-party AI. Premisely does not send your photographs or records to third-party AI services. If we add a feature that does, the app will say so and ask for your permission before anything is sent.
- The law. If we are legally required to disclose information, we disclose only what is required.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account in the app, under You → Delete account. Your account is deleted 30 days later; signing in before then lets you keep it. When it is deleted:
- every property you own on your own is deleted, with its records, photographs and documents, and the files are removed from storage, not just hidden;
- a property you own with a co-owner stays with them, and they become its owner;
- your name, picture, sign-in and notification tokens are deleted, and anything you added to other people’s properties stays with those properties, shown as added by a deleted person;
- if you signed in with Apple, we ask Apple to revoke Premisely’s access to your Apple ID.
We keep a record that an account was deleted and when, and security logs for a limited time.
Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your information in the app, export each property’s full record as JSON or CSV from its History and export screen, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to request a copy of your information or to object to how it is used. Write to support@vedastack.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Your information is stored by our service providers, which may be in the United States or other countries. It travels encrypted, and access to each property is limited to the people it has been shared with, enforced by the database itself.
Children
Premisely is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@vedastack.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy here with a new date, and tell you before a significant change takes effect.
